My kids were becoming addicted to the ipads this Summer. I was desperate to have them off the ipads but not fighting. This has been so great. On days that are too hot to go out they play this the whole day and get their bodies moving and are actually LAUGHING together. I can tell this will be a very valuable tool for school breaks and cold winter days as well. As close to guilt free screen time as you can get. My kids are 5 and 3. They both enjoy it immensely. And I love watching them play together.
Furthermore, I don't think you need to buy the subscription to enjoy it. The game my kids enjoy the most is the game that comes with the console. The subscription is just bonus for us.
